What it does
- Pour the layers: drainage, a barrier, soil and a top dressing.
- Plant real species: ferns, fittonia, carnivorous plants, mosses, with stones and wood.
- Add a cleanup crew of springtails and isopods.
- Seal it and watch it live day by day: the water cycle, moss spreading, plants growing, mould.
- Care for it, or forget it and watch it wilt.
- Share a jar as a living link, record a timelapse, take photos.
