- Misting and watering add water; misting also lifts the air briefly.
- Venting lets a sealed jar breathe.
- Tidying picks out fallen leaves before mould and rot use them.
- Any of these can repeat every few days as a routine.
- A sealed jar needs almost none; an open one needs regular watering.
