# Pin mould / bread mould
Rhizopus stolonifer, Mucor spp.

Fast grey fuzz topped with pinheads, on fresh organic matter.

## Care

- Air humidity: 90 to 100%

- Temperature: 15 to 30 °C

## Description
Tall grey-white hairs topped with tiny black pinheads race across food, fruit and fresh organic matter. It flares up fast and collapses once the sugars are gone, usually within ten days. Removing food and adding springtails speeds that along.

Also called black bread mould, whisker mould, pin mold.
