Description
Cottony white threads spread over fresh wood, cork and leaf litter, the classic bloom of a jar's first weeks. It never harms plants and fades as the wood's easy sugars run out, usually within six weeks. Isopods and a little airflow speed that up.
Also called white fuzz, new wood mould, white mould on driftwood.
